Guiding Principles – Part – II ( Example Tree)

To clarify further the importance of internal parameters let’s take an example of Tree. Any Tree can be classified as below

·Trunk- the main stem of a tree
·Branches- any woody extension growing from the trunk of a tree

·Leaves - any of the flat, think expanded organs, usually green, growing laterally from the stem or twig of a plant
Represents strength /foundation of internal parameters
·Root-the part of the plant below the ground; it holds the plant in position; it draws nourishment and water from the soil and stores food

Trunk, Branches & leaves deals with external factors and Roots deals with the internal parameters. A root develops strength and gives direction to trunk, branches & leaves to deal with external factors. E.g. the trunk is getting bend due to heavy wind, then its better to strengthen it from inside rather giving protection from outside.

For better understanding we can divide ourselves in two parts
· Parts which deals with external factors - 5 sense organs, qualification, understanding of situation
· Second is, parts which deals with internal parameters – mind, mechanism which produces thoughts, intuition, belief system etc.

We have to work on the parameter which holds us in right position and draws nourishment like “Roots”. The internal wisdom helps us to march in right direction with right attitude.

If we become aware of this fact and start working on it consciously then it will lead to,
· Better results in our day to day activities
· Should take us closer to our inner voice, our Intuition
· We will be operating very close to our CG point; hence the mental fluctuations will be very less.
· Right attitude towards work life balance.
