We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is same

Boundaries of our world are our thoughts.

If we ask ourselves what is our world? It would be bit confusing question to answer. There is one phrase, "In which world you are living?" This suggests that our world is limited or expanded by our thoughts.

Try the following,
At the end of the day try to memorize what were the thoughts throughout the day. Do not include thoughts related to office or technical or pure project related work, Try to avoid them as far as possible.

You can recollect what topic you have discussed with your friends or colleagues, about whom you have discussed. It can be complaining or crying about the situation or it can be encouraging discussion on the budget or economy or picture or how somebody is fool in office, friends, family problems etc.

While doing this process we will understand that majority of our spare time is getting engaged in these thoughts and our actions follow them.
If you do such activity and try to see for more number of days & weeks, you will find that a particular pattern will emerge.

From the pattern we can very well find out our how life is emerging.(other than work) And I am sure that if we have enough things in mind the pattern would turn out to be positive and energetic.

This is one of the simple ways to know about our world. Our world is nothing but the projection of our thoughts and this varies from person to person.
When the work and inner inspiration matches, then there is positive resonance and 24 x 7 one would find the thoughts related to the vision and that person never ever gets tired or gets bore in life, because he expands his thoughts to all the possible directions in this world to get needed information. It becomes his own world, his vision.
The idea of this exercise to make us realize do we have any such world which is very near and dear one to ourselves and would preserve and expand it for life long.

Objective & Purpose

Incidentally yesterday one of my friends forwarded this to me and the above insight flashed to me that this is what we are doing through this blog, trying to reach close to our inner voice

"What every man needs, regardless of his job or the kind of work he is doing, is a vision of what his place is and may be. He needs an objective and a purpose. He needs a feeling and a belief that he has some worthwhile thing to do. What this is no one can tell him. It must be his own creation. Its success will be measured by the nature of his vision, what he has done to equip himself, and how well he has performed along the line of its development." - Joseph M. Dodge

One of belief which I carry is that the people who are very close to their inner voice or intuition, always found the purpose in life & which is larger than life. Few people are fortunate, that their job and life purpose matches & they prosper.

How to identify the purpose? – Initially we can start with concentrating on all those activities in which we lose the sense of Time, space & cause. We get so involved in such activities that we lose for how long we are working, where we are working and so on. Validation this with you own previous experience.
The observer and observed becomes one.
